Septarian stone, AKA dragon stone is a mix of aragonite, calcite, and limestone or chalcedony formed together into one nodule. Its formation is as a result of dead prehistoric sea creatures crystallising into the sedimentary rock at the bottom of the ocean. This stone is formed between 50- 70 million years ago during the cretaceous period.
