Agate is a variety of chalcedony, a member of the quartz family. it is an interesting group of stones with thousands of different varieties, found abundantly worldwide. It comes in a wide variety of colours and patterns and is often most easily distinguished by its distinctive banding patterns.
Fire Agate is reddish brown with the inclusion of iron oxide, giving off flashes of fire. It is said to be a useful stone to increase intimacy and unlock hidden desires. It helps to strengthen or stimulate an attraction between two people.
The passionate nature of fire agate is also useful for artists or people in creative professions. It stimulates creativity and clears away blocks in the creative flow whilst promoting self-confidence. It exudes a warm and protective energy.
