Septarian stone, AKA dragon stone, is a mix of aragonite, calcite, and limestone or chalcedony formed together into one nodule. Its formation is a result of dead pre-historic sea creatures crystallising into the sedimentary rock at the bottom of the ocean. This stone was formed between 50- 70 million years ago during the Cretaceous period.
